Yuva Sajhedari 1.0 युवा साझेदारी, 2024
Nurturing Tomorrow's Leaders from an Early Age

On 9 August 2024, Rajdhani Yuva Sansad organised Yuva Sajhedari 1.0 — an introductory outreach programme for 100 eager participants from Classes 5 to 7. The event was conceived as an accessible, age-appropriate entry point into the world of parliamentary democracy, international diplomacy, and responsible public discourse.
At a stage when young students are beginning to develop their understanding of society and governance, Yuva Sajhedari 1.0 provided a structured yet engaging environment to explore the fundamental concepts of Parliament, the United Nations, and the role of the International Press. Through interactive discussions, activities, and live simulations, the participants were introduced to how democratic institutions function and how international cooperation shapes the world.
The programme was designed to be participatory at every level — encouraging students not merely to observe, but to question, deliberate, and take part. By grounding the experience in familiar language and relatable scenarios, the sessions made complex constitutional and diplomatic processes tangible for young learners, planting the seeds of civic curiosity and informed citizenship from an early age.

The Purpose Behind Yuva Sajhedari

Yuva Sajhedari 1.0 was conceived with a clear and purposeful objective: to inspire a sense of civic responsibility and global awareness among young learners at the earliest possible stage of their educational journey. By engaging students of Classes 5 to 7 in structured discussions about parliamentary governance and international cooperation, the programme sought to move beyond textbook learning and bring institutions to life.
The programme encouraged participants to think critically about the issues affecting their communities — from local governance to global challenges — and to recognise that meaningful participation in democracy begins not with age, but with awareness. Rajdhani Yuva Sansad believes that empowering children with this understanding early creates a stronger foundation for the engaged, responsible citizens of tomorrow.
