Where Ideas Meet Action

The First Edition of Ideas in Action Summit 1.0 was organised by Nehru World School in association with Rajdhani Yuva Sansad from 31st August to 1st September 2024. The event brought together participants for a series of dynamic debates and discussions centred on pressing global and national issues.
Hosted at Nehru World School, the summit provided an inspiring and conducive environment for participants to engage deeply with diplomacy, policy-making, and leadership, establishing it as a landmark event in the academic calendar.




Inaugural Ceremony

The Ideas in Action Summit 1.0 commenced with an atmosphere of excitement and anticipation as students, educators, and distinguished guests gathered at Nehru World School. The opening ceremony began with the ceremonial welcoming of the Co-Founders of Rajdhani Yuva Sansad along with their core team and the esteemed Executive Board Members. Each guest was honoured with a sapling, symbolising growth, sustainability, and the nurturing of ideas, aligning with the core values of the summit.
The ceremony set a strong foundation for the two-day event, which saw an impressive turnout of over 300 students and executive members from various institutions.

- 5 unique committees spanning law, diplomacy, crisis simulation, and pop-culture policy
- Lok Sabha committee focused on the Uniform Civil Code debate
- UNGA committee deliberating the humanitarian crisis in Gaza
- Historical Security Council simulating the 1975 Emergency in India
- Marvel Avengers Committee debating the fictional Sokovia Accords
- International Press covering and reporting on all committee sessions
Debate Across Domains
Delegates deliberated on the introduction of the Uniform Civil Code, examining implications for personal law, religious freedom, and national cohesion.
Delegates represented countries worldwide, debating urgent ceasefire calls, aid corridors, and international accountability mechanisms.
A gripping historical simulation re-examining the constitutional crisis of 1975 — its causes, implications, and lessons for democratic governance.
Delegates debated whether the Avengers should sign the Sokovia Accords, blending policy logic with creative storytelling and ethical reasoning.
Student journalists reported on committee sessions in real time — drafting news articles, social media posts, and broadcasting highlights.




Valedictory Ceremony

The summit concluded on a high note with a well-organised valedictory ceremony that celebrated the success of the event and the remarkable efforts of all involved. Participants were recognised and awarded for their outstanding performances, while the organising committee was also appreciated for their dedication and seamless execution of the summit.
The closing moments reflected a sense of accomplishment, acknowledging the quality of discussions and leaving participants motivated to carry forward the spirit of innovation, leadership, and meaningful engagement.
